Hi There,

I am a 23-year-old student at Pearson's Institute of Higher Education with a Higher Certificate in Information Systems Engineering, which I obtained Magna Cum Laude. I'm currently studying towards a BSc in Information Technology and aim to graduate in December 2023.

I am a highly motivated individual dedicated to expanding my knowledge of information systems and learning more about the bleeding edge of technology we use every day. My goal is to become a software engineer who designs, develops, and maintains software that benefits a persons day to day life.

Tech Enthusiast
An avid enthusiast of technology and what the latest tech is. Interested in how they were designed, work, compute, and what they bring to offer. I try and constructively incorporate technology into my everyday life.
Programming
Designing, coding, and deployment of software solutions that can eliminate problems and improve productivity. As someone who has a passion for problem-solving, coding has allowed me to use my passion in a productive way.
Java
Learning OOP fundamentals and creating applications on various devices led me to choose Java as my first language to solidify my understanding of clean and maintainable code, whilst allowing a more straightforward transition to other languages.
Personal Growth
As someone that wants to achieve great things in my life, personal growth is an important factor. I strive to learn something new every day that can help me on my journey to becoming a great software engineer.
Woodworking
Woodworking has become a hobby in my life that allows me to express my more technical side by using precision and equipment to create beautiful pieces of furniture. My interest took full effect when I built my first project alongside my uncle.
Car Enthusiast
From my love of programming, where creating components and objects that work together, emerged my love for cars. All the mechanical parts engineered to work together, the roar of an engine, and the maintenance needed to ensure long-lasting reliability became an appealing hobby once I delved deeper.

What I've Learnt

I am currently learning clean and maintainable code. I have been putting a focus on HTML & CSS recently to launch this website to show and keep track of my progress, whilst implementing a structured and maintainable format in deployment. I am currently enrolled in the CS50x course to further my understanding in becoming an engineer.
